Proximity Housing Grant (PHG)
Anyone who asks for your OTP or Singpass password, or asks you to pay before you can get government support, is a scammer.
The Proximity Housing Grant (PHG) rewards families and singles who choose to live near or with their parents or married children when buying a resale HDB flat. Married couples or families receive $30,000 if they buy a flat to live together with parents/children, or $20,000 if they live within 4km of them; eligible singles receive half — $15,000 or $10,000. PHG has no income ceiling. It applies only to resale flat purchases (not new BTO flats), requires a remaining lease of more than 20 years, can only be received once per applicant, and stacks with the Enhanced CPF Housing Grant and the CPF Housing Grant for Resale Flats (Family or Singles Grant).
