Parenthood Provisional Housing Scheme (PPHS)

The Parenthood Provisional Housing Scheme (PPHS) lets Singapore Citizen families who have already booked an uncompleted new flat rent a 2-, 3- or 4-room HDB flat in the meantime, at subsidised rates of roughly $400 to $1,500 a month depending on the flat and location. It is open to married couples, couples under the Fiancé/Fiancée Scheme (who must register their marriage within 3 months of collecting their PPHS flat keys), and divorced or widowed parents with children. The household must include a Singapore Citizen with another Citizen or Permanent Resident, monthly household income of $7,000 or less, and no household member may already own an HDB flat.
