North West CDC Utilities Assistance Scheme

Run by North West Community Development Council (CDC), this scheme helps needy households in the North West district settle overdue electricity and water bills so services are not cut off. It is aimed at lower-income households facing imminent disconnection, and applications are assessed case-by-case with supporting documents — meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee assistance. Each of Singapore's five CDCs (Central Singapore, North East, North West, South East, South West) runs its own local version of this kind of utilities/hardship help for residents in its own district, usually under a different name.
