MUIS Zakat Financial Assistance

Anyone who asks for your OTP or Singpass password, or asks you to pay before you can get government support, is a scammer.

MUIS's Zakat Financial Assistance (asnaf fakir/miskin) gives regular monthly cash support to Muslim Singapore Citizens and PRs assessed to be in need, using a per-capita household income (PCI) threshold of $500 or less (raised from a previous $400 threshold). On top of monthly support, existing beneficiaries also receive a Year-End Disbursement — about $300 per household in the December 2025 round, totalling $4.3 million across over 6,000 households — plus the Reqab scheme, which gives $150 per school-going child aged 18 and under (around 8,600 children in 2025) for uniforms, books and other school supplies.
