MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (MOE FAS)
Anyone who asks for your OTP or Singpass password, or asks you to pay before you can get government support, is a scammer.
MOE FAS helps Singapore Citizen students in financial need with school fees and other school-related expenses. It covers students in government and government-aided schools, government-funded special education schools, independent and specialised schools (including NUS High School of Mathematics and Science and School of Science and Technology), and government-funded post-secondary institutions (ITE, polytechnics, autonomous universities, arts institutions, NIEC). Support includes a full subsidy of school and standard miscellaneous fees, free textbooks and school attire, meal subsidies ($2.60/meal for primary, $3.50/meal for secondary, since Jan 2023), and transport subsidies, with pre-university students also receiving an annual cash bursary of $1,200 (since Jan 2023).
