Merdeka Generation Package
Anyone who asks for your OTP or Singpass password, or asks you to pay before you can get government support, is a scammer.
The Merdeka Generation Package supports Singapore Citizens born between 1 January 1950 and 31 December 1959 (or born earlier if they missed the Pioneer Generation Package) who became citizens by 31 December 1996. Members get an extra 25% off remaining bills at polyclinics and public specialist outpatient clinics, additional subsidies at CHAS GP and dental clinics, and Healthier SG screening at a flat $2 fee. They also receive a 5% MediShield Life premium subsidy (10% from age 76), plus a CareShield Life participation incentive of up to $4,000 for joining by end-2023 ($3,000 for joining in 2024), paid out over 10 years to offset premiums.
