Matched MediSave Scheme (MMSS)

Anyone who asks for your OTP or Singpass password, or asks you to pay before you can get government support, is a scammer.

Under the Matched MediSave Scheme, the government matches every dollar of voluntary cash top-ups made to an eligible senior's MediSave Account, up to $1,000 a year, for Singapore Citizens aged 55 to 70 (as at 31 December of the assessment year) with MediSave savings below half the prevailing Basic Healthcare Sum, average monthly income of $4,000 or less, and Annual Value of residence not exceeding $21,000 (owning no more than one property). Top-ups can be made by the member, family, employers or the community, in any amount up to the Basic Healthcare Sum; the matching grant is credited at the beginning of the following year, though matched amounts don't qualify for tax relief. The scheme runs as a five-year pilot from 2026 to 2030, announced at Budget 2025 and implemented from 1 January 2026.
