Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme (KiFAS)

Anyone who asks for your OTP or Singpass password, or asks you to pay before you can get government support, is a scammer.

KiFAS gives Singapore Citizen children at an Anchor Operator (AOP) or MOE kindergarten a means-tested monthly subsidy on top of the standard kindergarten fee subsidy, provided gross household income is $12,000 or less (or per-capita income $3,000 or less in households of 5 or more). For example, households earning $3,000 or less a month can get up to $163 a month in KiFAS subsidy, leaving a minimum co-payment of $1; the subsidy tapers down as income rises. Families on the HDB Public Rental Scheme or receiving MSF ComCare assistance automatically get the maximum subsidy tier. The child must attend kindergarten at least one day a month to stay eligible, and reassessment is available if a family's circumstances change.
