KeyStart Home Ownership Programme
Anyone who asks for your OTP or Singpass password, or asks you to pay before you can get government support, is a scammer.
KeyStart is run by South Central Community Family Service Centre (SCCFSC) to help families with children who are still living in HDB rental flats make the move to owning their first home. Caseworkers guide eligible families through the process of buying a new HDB flat (BTO or Sale of Balance Flats), while the programme's Access Fund grant helps bridge cash shortfalls at purchase and its Basic Habitation Fund grant helps pay for essential renovations and fittings so the new flat is liveable. It targets ComLink+ families who are still early in their home-buying journey, not those who have already signed the Agreement for Lease.
