ElderFund

Anyone who asks for your OTP or Singpass password, or asks you to pay before you can get government support, is a scammer.

ElderFund gives up to $250 a month, for as long as eligibility criteria are met, to Singapore Citizens aged 30 and above who need full assistance with at least 3 of 6 activities of daily living following a severe disability assessment by an MOH-accredited assessor. It targets those with low MediSave savings (under $10,000) and low household income per person ($1,500 or less), who are not covered by — and not currently receiving payouts from — CareShield Life, ElderShield or the Interim Disability Assistance Programme for the Elderly (IDAPE). Seniors already getting CareShield Life or ElderShield payouts but still struggling to afford care may still be considered case-by-case.
