ECDA Infant & Childcare Subsidy
Anyone who asks for your OTP or Singpass password, or asks you to pay before you can get government support, is a scammer.
Every Singapore Citizen child at a licensed infant-care or childcare centre gets a Basic Subsidy — $600/month for infant care and $300/month for childcare if the main applicant (mother or single father) works, or $150/month if not working. Working families can also qualify for an income-tested Additional Subsidy of up to $710/month (infant care) or $467/month (childcare) if gross household income is $12,000 or less, or per-capita income is $3,000 or less in households of 5 or more. Since December 2024, non-working applicants with household income of $6,000 or less (or per-capita income $1,500 or less) can also get the full subsidy, and time-limited higher subsidies exist for those unable to work due to job-searching, study, pregnancy, illness or caregiving. A minimum co-payment always applies.
