Baby Bonus Scheme

Anyone who asks for your OTP or Singpass password, or asks you to pay before you can get government support, is a scammer.

The Baby Bonus Scheme gives parents of a Singapore Citizen child a Cash Gift and a Child Development Account (CDA) with government top-ups. The Cash Gift is $11,000 for a first or second child and $13,000 from the third child onward, paid out every six months until the child turns six-and-a-half. Every child also gets a CDA First Step Grant — $5,000 for the first two children, $10,000 from the third — and the government matches parents' own CDA deposits dollar-for-dollar up to a cap that rises with birth order, from $4,000 for a first child to $15,000 for a fifth or later child. CDA funds can be spent at approved childcare centres, kindergartens and healthcare institutions.
